At the start of the year, MaccaX launched its Battle of the Nations — a friendly team competition where Team USA, Team Down Under, and Team Rest of the World racked up the swim, bike, and run mileage to win bragging rights as Best Team and for one of their team members to win these goodies:

  1. Custom training plan + Skype call with Macca to get them ready for 2016 season.
  2. Macca’s 2015 and 2016 racing kits
  3. Signed MaccaX Visor, Embrace The Suck T-shirt, MaccaX Sunnies

With the Aussies and Kiwis deep in their summer and USA knee-deep in snow, it seemed as if Down Under had the advantage going into the competition. However, it was Team World that ran away with the surprise win as members from Europe, Asia, Canada and Mexico pulled together to log the highest average swim, bike, and run miles for the first three weeks of the competition.

In the fourth week of the competition, members of Team World were required to log at least one swim, one bike ride, and one run to be eligible for the final draw. Congratulations to Ian Farrell, who is also preparing for Challenge Roth 2016.
