MaccaX member Ross Welton wins Ultra520K (Ultraman Canada)

One of our UK members, Ross is an avid ultra-distance athlete and not only finished Ultra520 Canada (formerly Ultraman Canada) but outright WON IT!

Raced over three days, the distance consisted of a 10-kilometer swim and 149.8-kilometer bike ride on Day 1, 275.8-kilometer bike ride on Day 2, and 84.4-kilometer double marathon on Day 3 for a total of 520 kilometers.
Day 1 Total: 7:43:22 (1st place)
Day 2 Total: 8:50:06 (1st place)
Day 3 Total: 8:24:17 (1st place)
Overall Total: 24:57:45

First place was fiercely fought over, with Ross crossing the Day 3 finish line alongside his rival Brad Sawa. Ross’s finish times over Days 1 and 2 gave him the winning edge. Astounding feat. Well done Ross! #ONDARIVET
